Blackout Butler
Before creating blackouts, each server in the list should be removed of any FQDNs and must be suffixed with an asterisk *. For instance, if the server ZEUSPLDBPRD01 needs to be included in the blackout, it should be modified to ZEUSPLDBPRD01*.
You can achieve this same by first removing the FQDNs using text-to-columns tool and then using the =CONCATENATE formula in Excel, or you can do it manually for each server. However, to simplify the process, we can use this tool. It takes raw data, removes any extra spaces, eliminates any FQDNs, and adds an asterisk to each server. You can then copy the results with just a click of a button.
